Has anyone been to CMS recently...

Looking for a 10.5' Ron Arra one piece surf rod. I saw they had a couple of sweet ones at the striper show this past winter...wondering if they stock them regularly.

Get one custom for you. I'f you're going to do that much rod, at least have it fitted. I know Saltheart will do those and I think M&Ds does a few Arras too....

I don't think there is a factory 10.5 rod. I have a 1205 and am considering a 1204 (after re-employment ) but then I think the next size is a 132x . for the 1286 you'll need to go custom anyway (I'm pretty sure)

I was there last week. They had five or six custom surf rods in a rack.

The only 10'6" Arra is the 1261MH. Its a 3 to 6 type rod. Great for jigging the Canal. I made JPowers one. You might ask him how it casts!

I'm suppose to have the blanks in stock but they all arrived broken from Lamiglas. Package was fine but all the butt ends crushed inside. seems like someone drove a fork truck over the blanks while at the factory and still packaged & shipped them to me.

Just another of many reasons why I am loosing fath with them
