Weekend Plans?

PIG ROAST for Troop 7 Buttonwoods (Warwick, RI)

If anyone wants tickets ($20) - shoot me a PM and I'll have some at the door field.

Clean gear, buy a license, work.

So what's up for the weekend?

Mothers' daybrunch on Sunday with my mom, dad, La'Tasha, and Mia. Hopefully get out Saturday night to catch a tide and do my first fishing of the season. Spend the rest of the weekend trying to slam in all the things I'll never have time to do.

Yard chores in the morning tomorrow and then coaching my son's baseball team in the afternoon. Heading to see my friends play acoustic at the Deck on Green Harbor Sat night. Breakfast for my wife of Sunday. Oh yea, heading to Tosca tonight with her for a little post anniversary pre Mothers day adult dinner. Who knows maybe I'll get lucky?

Went to Gloucester the other day and bought 30 lbs of clam bellies. Chopped them up and froze into chum logs. Going floundering in the harbor.

I was planning on fishing the annual Hiolyoke shad derby. The river is blown out right now, so I think I might be changing some plans to head East for some some stripers some where.

Got everyone hanging at the house for Mom's weekend. Maybe hit the Circus before it gets light.

BTW, fished Narragansett Bay this AM. Very, very quiet.

No boat, back in the suds.

Out to dinner tonight with my son while mommy is out with the girls, then home to relax. Fishing derby tomorrow am with my son and neice and nephew, then maybe try to get out for a few casts in the afternoon. Out with the guys Saturday night. Stop by moms Sunday morning, then Lax game at noon, then to the inlaws for a Mother's day late lunch. Maybe fish Sunday night if I'm not wiped out.

Sunfish weren't biting but the smallies were out in force. Not bad for each of their first casts.

We had fish after fish for about an hour.
