camera RIP
So my Olympus died after three years. The last swim did it in. Pulled it out of my pocket and the automatic lens cover was open, that doesn't look right. It wasn't.
Anybody seen any good deals lately? Looks like I can do a similar Olympus on Amazon for around a buck fifty.
I had a pic of a decent Pike (3' plus) on the card from earlier Sunday and wanted a pic of a striper on the same white needlefish. Dropped the striper, just as well I would have been bummed if the camera didn't work.

Just picked up a x-560wp water proof 10.0 mp with a 2.4"lcd and a 3x zoom on the auction site fore short $$$$$ (under a c-note). Works great and the rain and salt water doesn't matter anymore. Good luck with your search.

Fuji waterproof camera. Had it 4 seasons now. 100 plus trips a season, barely rinsed, works awesome every time. Small and light weight.
Takes nice video too.
Long battery life.
For the first season I had it I kept in the front pocket of my plug bag. Which was always wet and submerged for the most part. Now it's sits in a custom holder on my shoulder strap from commando. Always had it on a lanyard too.
Think the one I have is 10mp, newest one is 14 or 16mp.
Awesome camera for about 150, find em on sale for about 100/120.

Got the same... Mine stays soaked. Never rinsed. works great. Pictures are fine for it's purpose. Plus if i lose it (done that 2x's) it's relatively short money.

It just gets confusing looking at cameras. All I want is one that zooms in and out, the flash goes off when it needs to, and I can put it in my wetsuit pocket. No GPS, ERV or XYZ. Like a Checker cab of cameras, the boxy Volvo or a pickup from before the 90s. The Fuji sounds interesting, I just need to negotiate with the better half. I did buy the last one at Beans.............
