First day of Summer 2012 95 degrees?

Well summer sure is starting out appropriately. Maybe 95 today and tomorrow. I hate extreme heat worse than extreme cold. Looks like I plan my life around Airco for the next few days!. |

				 | It was nice on the water today. Fish, Bass, didn't really cooperate but fun was had and a few fluke fillets for supper. Sucks being back inland though. Feel like I got a refrigerator on my back. Thank god for AC. |

There were blues up on the shoals. |

				 | yeah plenty of blues along a few spots and good numbers of small bass but no big ones. The fire fly's outside a few minutes ago were unreal. Like fireworks my daughter said.

				 | Nice pics Paul. Its been like that for a few weeks. There are pods of better fish but its been alot of work in the boat to find a school of fish that are decent and not loaded with bluefish. It has been taking alot of school moving to find bass. 1 over to your east has been holding decent when the bait isn't there.Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

(I tried to add some nice pictures of the Bluenose, but was not successful--sorry for my incompetence. Google Bluenose schooner for some beautiful pics.)

				 | got up at 330 am to go fishing, when i left the house it was already 84 degrees in warren.
it was 108.5 degrees in the kitchen around 1pm, and thats just the air temps, factor in a busy lunch, 6 gas burners going and two 3 foot grills and 4 fryers, it was a hot one in the kitchen today.

and its only june |

 | I have been on the Bluenose II in Lunenberg NS.. Awesome boat for sure. Built from exact plans of original and at original boatyard in Lunenburg. My grandmother was from Novi and I have been several times. Luv the place. Art told me it was owned by the black dog rest. on MV, thus the black lab on flag. was a very nice looking boat |
