Looked and sounded like a southern location; used to see lots of them down there. Don't see that much in the Northeast.

those 3 days was a reminder on how much fun fishing is. Weekend like that dont come around often. we were casting backwards into 1 ft of water sticking 20lbers.

Use to be a huge mullet run at Weakpaug right around now. Actually this is a week early. It was usually the 15th.

One night The Rockhound and I had a 100 fish between the 2 of us.

No boat, back in the suds.

its was stupid fishing, casting big pencils onto the shore as the fish cirlced behind us then working them off the beach into the surf.

flat calm beach conditions, solid 20lb fish everywhere and massive blue fish, had two bles that weighed 17lbs.

i have a couple plugs, with straightened hooks that are hanging on the wall as i reminder.

every year since i pray it happens again.

last year we got a small pod off one of the beaches and no fish found em. they stayed for 4 or 5 days and it just never happened.
