Block Island This Weekend

I'll be back down that way this weekend. I may stay in close and fish for fluke and bass unless the predicted seas improve. I'll be staying at Champlin's ifg anyone is around. Just look for my Hydrosports 2150 WA with a 175 Johnson.

I'm interested in a tuna reports south or east of the island if anyone has any.

Tight Lines!

Are those your daughters or fishing mates?

It was too rough to head out an chase tuna or dorado comfortably. The ride homwe would have been a beater. So the girlfriend and I just slept in and fished the SE corner where all those 10 lb bluefish were hangin out. Tons of bluefish over there. Like shooting fish in a barrel. Tried to drop an eel down to any bass that might have been below, but just kept realing in cigar butts.

Fish-Ons post and 179's avatar is bringing back fond memories....I remember back in my single daze ....bringing girlfriends over to BI for weekends and vacations...thosse were the days......fishing late, sleeping in, eating out. When I die, please bury me there.
