Reddrum is active at times as is fish militia. I certainly don't know everything, but I might be able to help. I try to get down for a week every April.

Staying in south Nags head for 10 days in may. Looking for a good partyboat in the area. Also wondering what species are available from surf/pier mid may.

I don't know anything about party boats, but you might get that info if you post on reddrum. As far as fish available from shore, you could have blues, whiting/mullet, blow toads/puffer, big red drum are possible, nice sharks (I've caught big duskies and sand tigers from shore), big rays, spanish mackeral, cobia if you are lucky, flounder, and sometimes albies. Great time to be there, although beach access becomes more of an issue.

Was in Frisco in Mid-August. Caught my first shark from shore on a mullet I caught during the day. I would move there tomorrow, gorgeous place. Way out south of Hatteras is what I think the back beaches of the cape where like way back in the day. Going back this year with my new Xterra.
