anything with a shell is just that..claming-lobstering..no fishing after it........now anything with a fin on it if your hunting it is fishing...only time it's called shellfishing is when you go get a permit,,but you don't need a permit to fish for shells along a beach....no such thing as a piss clam.its just clam...cohogs are cohogs not hardshells....when you go scooollopin [no a in scollops] always eat the first doz. raw on the spot,that way if you make back to the truck alive you know their ok an havn't been poluted.

This will be my 2nd season with a Yak; goals for 2013 will be more open ocean trips to some great RI reef's, get a fish finder, come up with a better trolling system, land an Albie, land a 50#, and explore Sakonnet Light area more.
