How true. Our table spot had a mess of boulders in it's place. Amazing the entire building sustain damage beyond repair. Hope we can party there in 2014.

Pete F! I must have missed you! I stopped by there that same night.
Wonder where the MS surf club challenge breakfast will be? Real bummer the 20th anniversary of it wont be at the Andrea.

Years ago when I was the consummate "surf rat" in SoCo we spent countless hours in the middle of the night fishing under the lights at the Andrea.
They use to leave these huge lights on shining on the water which drew bait and fish. Never caught anything over 20# there but had many 50 and 60 fish nights.

I also think they plan to have some parts operating quickly and that the full restoration will take until 2014.
Good people there. For years they kept an oversand beach access spot open when all around everyone else was trying to close the access points.

sad. like others have said, always a spot I stop at when running back and forth from the two prominent points on either side in the fall. always run into someone you know, have a person to chat with when you're trying to stay awake late at night. bums me out...
