Addy for Diawa reel repair
Anyone got the address where you send a reel for service. I have a Saltiga and need a going over for next year. Don't have the paper work so I need the facility that does this. I usually service my own reels but this one is foreign to me so off it goes. Thanks P.

I've been very happy with the Daiwa service. Usually costs less than $20 out and back. You fill out the form below describing what needs to be done, then ship it. They'll contact you if anything is out of whack, then you'll typically get the reel back in a couple weeks.

What the hell are you doing with a saltiga?

It's not the bait

How long did it take? I sent in an Emblem Pro and it took them 3 months to get it back to me.
Might have quicker turnaround for those highbrow Saltiga users though.

A couple or three weeks. They were able to cross reference and use parts that I couldn't get through Bucko's or Surfland. Slight color difference, same part.

I just got reels back from Daiwa. Figure on a month from the time you ship it. $25 including return shipping to service my saltiga. They did try to replace the main gear and pinion for $225, but I declined. As far as servicing goes, I don't think you can beat sending it to CA.
