the truck got stuck trying to pull out a golf cart, loader got stuck trying to pull out the truck. they were using the golf cart to shuttle the guys working on the bridge back and forth. they are grouting the pilings
|

Someone decided it was a great idea to drive their truck out onto the mud flats near the Powder Point Bridge to "help" with the repairs.
Yeah, that's EXACTLY the kind of thinking we want to repair a bridge that traverses ocean water.
See what happens when you go with the lowest bidder for a multi- million dollar project???
(Keep in mind that this was only a REPAIR to a bridge that needs to be completely replaced! I wonder what the beach stickers will cost when they finally decide to do what should have been done over a decade ago!)

I feel bad for these guys they were just trying to help each other out and I am glad no one got hurt. I hope they don't get fired, this is what insurance is for. I was amazed how far out they actually got. I did say I feel bad for them but still pretty freaking funny "did anyone see my front-end loader?" hilarious!!!
