I honestly haven't tied a plug on in probably 3 years, I fish exclusively with plastic from 100-1 foot of water, rigging changes obviously from weightless to 7" splittails on 5oz jig heads.

If I was limited to one rod in one hand and what I could grab with the other, I'd grab one bag 6" half jerks in sand eel and a bag of 3/4oz Kalin Ultimate jigs heads. Unless it were spring, then the 4" split tail and 1/2oz heads would definately be my choice.

That....is a tough call? I am a topwater junkie so any pencil (spot dependant on size) is what I love to draw vicious strikes and also my "Blitz Seeker" by day.......night time......I like to "Prey"!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

No real go-to plug. Always depends on where and when. Other than bway/canal, it's usually a swimmer or plastic. This year, it'll be something I grab out of timmah's bag since he's been building enough for three people.

I, personally, have never seen a man master the art of catching seagulls with those 2 lures like you

Probably a smokey joe redfin. It has caught more than just about anything else. I dont know what the hype is about bone, i guess its a confidence thing.

Everything is better on the rocks.

For the night I like a black Danny Swimmer or a black Needlefish. In the daylite nothing beats a nuetral boyancy to slightly sinking popper with a sand eel type teaser. Now that's just for plugs. In fact no plug would be my first choice at night but a popper with teaser still might be my choice in the day time

Since we can only pick ONE go to plug I have to say a pencil...nothing like watching a fish miss it only to come back for it and smash it.

Bucktail. I've caught big and small, dozens of species, all over the place on that. If I could only have one lure type piece of fishing gear, that would be it. Even a plain bucktail, you can hang bait off it, or put a strip of torn t-shirt to make a trailer, whatever. Catching-est single piece of gear ever invented for fishing, IMO.

In the past a 7" bone red fin was my favorite plug I only fish it loaded when I need the extra casting distance. But lately iv been taking a stick Shad out of my bag first most of the time. They cast great fish love them day or night they produce.
