Work boot suggestions

Looking for a new of work boots. I normally buy the timberland pro series and add supplemental arch support for my feet.

These boots are pretty decent for the cash, durability and comfort.

Looking for other suggestions, just curious to see what else is available. Anybody have any suggestions!

I've been mostly wearing Redwings and Chippewa boots ..

I had carhart boots bought from Asacks in Buzz Bay. They lasted me 4 years in the garage. Comfortable and didn't break the bank.

I've been in Red Wings for 15 years now. Wouldn't wear anything else. Very comfortable and don't need to break them in. However they WILL break the bank. For me they last a few years but I am not hard on them.

Hermans until they went under,,,
Redwings till now,,,, they are not cheap (or is that cheep?)
You can send the Redwings back for new soles for back up! I have a local cobla guy re-sole mine for back ups.

Wolverine Multishox for me.
Last pair went into Tractor supply and tried the pair I wanted to make sure my size was correct (I have really wide feet so hard to find shoes that fit)
Went home to the computer and found that pair for 1/3 less $ including shipping.

I used to have red wings many years ago.
Last pair of boots I had for the Army were light weight Bellville's. I was very impressed with the toughness and light weight of these boots and never blistered no matter how far I walked.

I also like the Red Wings and have worn them for quite a few years. I just got a pair of Dr. Martens work boots and after a week, they feel fantastic.
I get mine through work.

Timberland has a great warranty program. If they rip or if the sole falls off or pulls apart send them in for a free pair.

I've had a pair of Rocky's for almost 8 years. Used to wear them 40-50 hours/week when working on the ambulance, now I use them as work/hiking boots. Best ankle support of any boot I've worn and quite durable.

I'll try them when my boots die,I'm on my 2nd pair of Georgia logging boots they'v served me well in the feild and kicking around the house,I've heard great things about Redwing and Chippewa.

On a side note, I tried Timberland Pros they didn't last more than 2 months in the field and Carolina's....they also suck.

I wear timberland pros and love them sorta. They are extremely comfortable. To the point where i can work 12-14 hours walking quickly, get home and not take em off till bed. The bad, i go through 2-3 pairs a year.

Try Wigwam men at work socks, durasole for summer and double duty for winter. Also Guide Gear makes a good sock called the Xtreme Steel toe work socks.

Have had two pairs of Chippewas not bad. I have had countless timberland pro series. I am now wearing a pair of Rockies that are very comfortable and my plantars Fatguyitis hasn't been a problem since wearing them.

My favorite boots ever were Doc Martens just never got back into em for one reason or another.
