I am not much of a plug guy or shore fisherman!! I have not been down to the Cannale for about 4 or 5 years, and then I use bait and have to retie every cast But I am bored and thought what the heck.

Skinjigs - 3-1/2 oz if the current is slow enough, and 4-1/2 oz if the current is moving fast. Bucktails usually 4 oz is enough. There has been a strong SW wind most of the day so the east running tide must be smoking. I will fish the last of the west.

try red porkrind as sometimes the bass are on lobsters.

Good advice, Slip, though the 9" white Ledgerunner jerks on a 3 1/2-4 oz jighead have done the best for me this year.....EVEN in the dark (go figure).....

I'm gonna give it a try with the 6" and 9" wildeyes first (killed'em on Wednesday with em). If that ain't workin' I'll go with an appropriate buctail and a rind behind.
