The book is a great read. Dave did a fantastic job of capturing the sheer essence of what the fall run is all about
: normally sane people driven berserk by the schools of stripers that break our hearts by leaving us until spring...but hopefully staying around long enough to allow us to catch that fish of a lifetime.
The bar scene (Coddington Brew in Newport) in the book is destined to become more of a classic than the bar scene in the first Star Wars movie.
If Dave could have only spent more time with Iron Mike...but then again, there was so much he couldn't put in print already.
