You're right Rob. 20 years ago (my God it is 20 years) we would sit at the Second Rip and watch hawks and one Golden Eagle dive bomb the plover checks inside the fenced area. Here we were forbidden to drive because the NPS thinks we're gonna run over the birds and the hawks and eagles, not to mention the foxes, are having a field days.
