One of the first times I took my wife fishing she was just out to see the sunset and watching me fish. I had a pick of some small fish with my buddy Zeke. I tell her next one that hits you get to reel it in. I hook up on a home made eelbob and hand the rod to her. 5 minutes later she has a 41 pound bass on the beach. My buddy Zeke and I could not believe it. Neither of us had yet reached the 40 pound club. So my wife got into the club before me. A few years later we took a trip to fish Cuttyhunk before it got popular with all the surf fishing clubs. She was a real trooper walking from the the southern tip all the way back to the Allen House - out fished me again.
