Oh good!
Back when he was governor it was pointed out at many public occasions that I looked a lot like him, hair color and even the way I combed my hair. I can recall one time going to a zoning board hearing for a local bar I used to frequent to hear live bands. The club wanted to expand to the space next door so they could possibly add food service to their club.
The zoning board at the time was lead by Mickey Roache, the ex-head of the police dept. and when I walked into the meeting the board immediately shut up and looked at me because they thought that Gov. Weld had just walked in. man did I get a laugh out of that.
I might have to resurrect my old "look" again if he does try to run.
Oh, and one of the bands that played at the club, to this day, refers to me as "The Governor", even going so far as to add it to their "tribute" on their latest CD at that time....
