no...your not the only one to buy those blanks from Mike..

The Amtak and Batson blanks are very much like the Allstar blanks. Allstar actually makes those blanks for Amtak, and used to make the Batson blanks until about two years ago. The Batson line is becoming very popular here in the Northeast, and the Patriot line shouldn't be far behind. Not to mention you just got to love the price points..

Actions on these blanks are fast to very fast. Not at all like the softer Lami actions. If you like the Allstar 108 and 120 lines, you'll love these also. As far as the manufacturers ratings, the blanks I have are right on the mark. Upper end of the rating anyway. Drop and oz off the top and thats right about in the sweet spot.

Side by side, its tuff to tell the difference between the Amtak and Batson blanks. (other than the color differences)
Own the 1209 and 1208 in both, and they seem identical.
