Its not Cox itself its Excite , a company who provides the internet connection for Cox. Cox is suppose to be setting up their own but now Excite is shutting down sooner than anticipated so we may get stuck for a while til Cox gets there own stuff going. They have a deal with Net Zero whereby we can get free dial up service in the meantime but that would mean a need for a dial up modem and setting it all up for a short time. If I lose it at home for a while I'll still have net access from work.
And BTW , I'm on now and there were rumors of a 3AM shutdown. We'll see.
