Not because of the quality, but because of the price!
I guess these companies think that fishermen are made of money or something????????
I am going to challenge any reel manufacturer to make a sealed reel for the surf that will sell for less than $200 and is reliable unlike the Nautil!!!!!!!
Shimano? Zebco? Penn? Okuma? FinNor? Daiwa?
Who's gonna step up to the plate????
I dont know about everyone else but I am sure that if a company would do this they would make quite a bit of money as well as obtain quite the following!!!!
