Dave, I just cobbled up a setup on scrap wood. I used a couple shower door wheel bearings oneach end to hold some large threaded screweyes, then simply drilled a hole in a dowel and shoved it in the rod dryer. Just rund one long wire and kink it a little to keep the plugs from slipping, support it every 4-5 plugs.
Makes it easy to apply the finish and drop glitter on them.
BM has been doing it this way for years.

A rotissery motor would work well also.
