Thats what really gets me the most. If ALL the family agreed that Terry wanted to die if put into this positon and that was her wish that is one thing. But in this case you have only one person saying this is what she wanted with NO possitive evedince to support it. I dont know how the hell the courts could rule in the husbands favor with NO evidince.

Why does there always have to be blame attached to a tragedy. There are no winners in this situation. and there's no one to blame.

The Schindlers lost their Child
Michael Schiavo lost his wife and Best friend
Terri Schiavo lost her life

What happened was a sad tragedy and I can't see how anybody can pass judgement on anybody involved in this. Whats that old quote "Never judge a man unless you've walked a mile in his shoes"

The parents were trying to help there child, which is what they are supposed to do. the Husband was trying to do what he thought his wife wanted him to do. This wasn't some criminal case where you needed evidence to convict, it was a family tragedy that opened up a lot of thought provoking questions and some deep soul searching. I feel for everybody involved. I just hope I am never put into that situation, either as a parent or a spouse, because you just can't win.

and why is it so hard to believe that she didn't want to live like that. Every person I've talked to recently about this pretty much ended the conversation w/ the same phrase, "All I know if I'm ever like that just pull the Friggin Plug" Myself included. So its not to much of leap of faith to think that maybe she did want this.

"If you're arguing with an idiot, make sure he isn't doing the same thing."
