Reedys archery is a great store -- Definately where you want to go to learn all about archery. The owner Chris is a super nice guy and all of the employees who work there are extremely helpful as well.
However be aware that right now is PRIMETIME for bow season
and the store will be unbelievably busy! I am sure you will still get great service but you might get even better service if you could wait a couple of weeks (this is not a knock against them its just that they are the BEST in the area and people come from all over to the store)
Also, be aware that they are a deer checking station and more than likely there will be lots hunters showing up there with dead deer throughout the day. If your son would be scared / grossed out seeing this it might not be the best time to visit.
