Even you are not lightning friendly. Your body is mostly saline based fluids that conduct electricity. There's no such thing as a lightning friendly fishing rod.

I don't think I ever suggested fishing in a lightening storm.

That being said, I'd much rather have a glass stick than graphite if there was any question.

I happen to be terrified of lightening, just ask RIROCKHOUND
