This is a hard question to answer because I don't know the volume a dealer buys with but:
Is there an average % the dealer makes on an outboard ?
This is just a couple of things I think I know (pricing is highly secretive!). Take 10-15% off the MSRP for the street price. Take 30% off the MSRP for the dealers cost.
Hidden costs-- Prop, rigging, gauge options. If you stick with the same brand motor, the steering and throttle cables should work, but might not.
