No my screen name is not what I drive, and my last name is not morrison. It is my first name...nuf' said..

I've lived in Quincy since I was like 2 and basically grew up on Wollaston beach. It was much cleaner then !!

I've been fishing since I can remember and have always had a boat. My dad's boat became mine once I was old enough. Bay flounder by the bushell and mackeral from the shore. Smeltin' in the winter.

I used to fish from the shore mostly, cause the boat was too small for the open ocean, and at that time the bluefish were thick in the boston area anyway.

I'm married got a daughter 17 and son 14, he likes to fish also, but getting him away from the video games is tough. It is getting easier though. She wants nothing to do with smelly fishies anymore !!!!

Now that time is a premium (work/kids/house etc..) I don't get as many chances to fish as I would like. I make an effort to get out a weekday/week in the summer to avoid the weekend crazies, but I ususally end up out one day on the weekend too.

I have a 21' proline fishing machine set up real sweet. Good seaworthy boat dry and comfortable (not a CC,,,,doh !), also still small enough to get close to the rocks.

Through John's website I've made some new aquaintances (sp?), and hope to meet more in time. I also got more involved with the MSBA, (which I've been a member of for 4-5 years), by talking with other members here and then meeting up out in the sea, at the marina and at the club. I am a full fledged vounteer now...My son is a junior member in the club too.

Hope to meet more fellow boaters and non-boaters this year on the water and on land.

One day I might even dust off those old surf rods and go back to the "hard" way to fish (sorry surfguys/gals)....MAYBE !!!

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
