Need help/suggestion

I want to remove the trim tilt from the OB.

I got the snap rings off, but could not move the pin at the bottom.
Beat the crap out it NO GO.

Any suggestions on getting the pin out?
Hopefully the upper one on the tilt won't be so stubborn.
