My nephew Jarrod, during school vacation, spent the week at the Essex Boat museum, building what looks to be about a twenty foot dory, along with several other kids his age. His mother is great at finding things for him to do and keep busy at. I am sure it cost quite a bit for the one-week course. My sister-in-law posted a pic on facebook with Jarrod sitting in the middle of the dory, and the boat looked awrsome. I think its great these programs exist. I am so jealous.
