GS,

I totally agree with you. It is Luck and What you know that makes one a successful fisherman. I am a beach fisherman. NOT because I DON"T own a boat. I WANT one, just can't afford it yet.

But, for the record...........

On Nantucket, you can demolish Bass ALL season long, ANY TIME of the day with a boat. From the beach it is a Night/Change of light program. We all know the score there. I enjoy beach fishing because it is simple (here) to hop in the truck and head out for an hour. No big prep and not too much questimating.

In my opinion BOTH techniques deserve respect. Kind of like Fly fishing versus spin. One compliments the other.

The pissing contest is very childish. Schoolyard crap in my opinion.

Tonight should be decent. Make sure we remember that there is another swell coming.

Be careful
