Sorry to hear this Bob. I just lost my Dad March 4th- after ten years of bi-monthly ER visits and hospitalizations.
You know they are not going to live forever but it is still so very difficult to fathom them not being here anymore. Do whatever you can to coerce a smile or laugh out of your Dad in his final days. Share your fondest memories and be sure to tell him how much he is loved and appreciated. Stay strong for your Mom but allow yourself to feel your true emotions as well. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family...
