Fished with kids a LOT in Charlestown

Thanks to the advice offered by experts here, my family had a great time camping near Charlestown this weekend, did a TON of fishing. Bought some stuff at Quonny B&T and Breachway B&T in Charlestown, got some good advice there, too.

Fished with the kids along the breachways (Charlestown and Quonny), not near the ocean ends, more on the pond sides. Caught a ton of cunners (spelling?), a few very small sea bass, two nice scup, and my oldest caught a pretty big tautog at Quonny. All released to fight another day. Netted a few huge blue crabs, need to get the gear to do that right next time, maybe keep some to make sauce.

All I did, when not helping my kids, was cast for snappers. Not a nibble. I was surprised by that.

Also, there was a TON, and I mean a TON, of seaweed. Is that because of the blow and the moon tide?
