Thought I’d share....

A few days ago, late afternoon, I’m at the east end, short jetty casting at nothing. The rock is real comfy and even has a built in backrest. So I decided to sit my ass down, kick back and enjoy the sea breeze. I hear in broken Ingrish “ How long you gone be on rock ? I like dat rock.”
I was about ready to leave but said “ Midnight, leave me your phone number and I’ll call you when I’m done.” So I drift off for a little nap, get up stretch,pee and cast at nothing for another hour or so. He sat nearby with his snoopy rod and waited me out the whole time. I assume a few years ago he caught a fish on that very rock and he was determined to do it again.
