September MSBA Meeting

I wanted to remind everyone that the September Mass Striped Bass Assoc. meeting is a week early this month. I recieved this from Chuch C. and wanted to pass along the itinerary for this month's meeting:

I wanted to remind the membership that the Mass Striped Bass meeting is Wednesday, Sept 19th at 7:30PM at the Viking Club, Braintree.

This meeting will very unique as we have a multitude of political and fishery management representatives at the meeting that will include the following:

Paul Howard - Executive Director of the New England Fisheries Management Council
Jim Donofrio - Executive Director of the Recreational Fishing Alliance
Stephen Lynch - Current MA State Senator and Democratic candidate for US Congress

This is your opportunity to discuss the issues at hand for recreational fishing and for sustainable commercial fishing practices.

Topics that will be discussed:

Status and direction of New England's Groundfish Management Plans
Possibility of Circle Hook mandates in Amendment 6 for striped bass management
Environmental and recreational fishery issues
