I have a extra rod and reel kicking around I might as well put it to use on the boat next season to sling eel's. The rod is a 6' 6" penn slammer medium action 1-4 oz,the reel is a penn squidder that I have not used in over 10 years,so I am a little out of touch on what line to load on. In the olden days I used to use 45#squidding line
