BTW, a fatal accident this weekend along Atlantic Ave (Runs parallel to South Beach). I heard it was two 17 yo kids racing an SUV with 15# of air in the tires. (I know, I know) Tires peeled off when they reached 80 and vehicle rolled 4 times, ejecting driver, passanger got hung under vehicle and was killed. Driver died shortly thereafter. (no seat belts) I was comming back from chappy and saw a army of EMT's heading south very fast.
Don't know if I have *all* the facts straight but that is what I heard from a few locals. It will be a very sad day in the high schoool today.
