Unhappy OK...finally got around to replacing waterpump on Jeep and.....

Got the new gasket on there and I am putting on the new pump.....tightening everything up and all of a sudden...."SNAP"! The bolt that holds the power steering pump bracket in position and bolts the water pump to the block snaps off! I knew something was amiss as this bolt did not have a bolt hex-head on it as the others did. Turns out one of the previous owners must have snapped the bolt off before and instead of trying to do the right thing and extract the bolt properly (which is a ball-buster because the bolt is about 6 inches long and most of it is in the block and it is quite rusted in place I am sure) they simply welded another threaded end onto the broken bolt and put the pump and ps bracket back on with a nut!!!!

Any ideas as to how I can get this rectified properly? Anyone ever have this happen to them? Tried grabbing what was left with all kinds of tools, vice-grips, easy out, pipe wrench...small one for torque.....no luck. Probably gonna have to find someone who can drill it out and re-tap it I guess? Gotta find someone who will do it!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
