I've used one for a while (over 4 years) and caught bass to 20# on it and everything to that size. Nice reel, smooth drag, light, never gave me any problems. It's the spinning reel that I use 95% of the time.

I recently bought the 4500 for throwing eels into the boulders and live lining/slow trolling shad [needed to use heavier line]. The bait runner feature is great, especially if you fish alone from a boat and can't always hold your rod.
