Talking Bluefishin' Mission A Success!

My oldest son caught his first bluefish ever at the Race today! He was thrilled, as was his Dad! We plugged every nook and cranny of the Race but could not get any action topside so the boy chunked up a piece of mack and on his first cast....."fish on"! 5 pound blue......it made our day!

Then we bumped into Backbeach Jake there and he was fishing with Labrador 1....Fred gave my son a nifty blurple needlefish (Thanks again Fred) my son thought how great it was to get a plug like that! Then Labrador 1, upon meeting me says...."Hi....have a plug".....so he gives me a nice metal lipped swimmer he made. It is beautiful....so in return I needlefish plug him with a blurple! Later on I see BBJ and Labrador 1 again and Labrador 1 gives me another plug and I gave Fred one of my Goo Goo Eyes knockoffs to fish! So my son says...."The fishing was not that great, but the "lure-ing" was awesome! Smart kid, huh? I have to keep a steady supply of "trade" wood in my rig I guess for swapping with you all?

A good day!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
