I just got this guy back tonight from 'Head Qaurters Taxidermy'(Rochchester Ma.) It took aprox 13 months to get it back. This is the first buck I had him do so I was a bit weiry about his work. I chose a full sneak (left). Glad I went with the full sneak...its different. I thought he did a very good job on the cape and he has a nice brisket. One thing I also look for is detail around the eyes which also came out nice. I hope to send him more work.
The biggest complainant I hear lately is teh service from taxidermists, because there is very limited good ones out there they tend to jerk you around plus they themselfs hunt. It usualy around 1 yr wait but 1 1/2 to 2 is more like it, then you have to worry about the qaulity of the cape. Most good taxi's send them out for professinal tanning but watch out theres hackers out there.
