Thanks to Got Stripers

I finally got a chance to take a ride to Got Stripers house Saturday morning to pick up the Ledgerunner rubber I...uhhh....Mrs Crafty won in the DonM raffle we had at Hooters a while back.

Man, GS is pouring some great stuff - if any of you guys haven't checked out the Ledgerunner baits yet for this coming season, you've gotta do it. Now I know what all the raving was about - I'm looking forward to decking a few large on them. Pt Jude Joe went along for the ride and picked up some stuff too to use with his new secret weapon he's going to introduce soon and we're going to field test it today -

Anyway, thanks again, GS - and the offer still stands anytime you want to come to Newport - there's a couple of spots where I know they can be put to real good use!

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
