With all the fishing around who wants to make plugs? Get out and fish fer Cris'sakes! Today I was in my skiff on the "bay" and the water was 48 degrees. Know what? I killed them! Lots of sand eels and lots of squid. Fish up to 36 inches with some real big ones following them in. My trustee little compass really works well. I was the only boat to leave the dock first thing this morning and I couldn't see twenty feet. Found the bar okay and was handsomely rewarded. Didn't see another boat ( or much else for that matter) for two hours and on every cast. Was pretty damm cold and raw for while though. I luv May on C ape Cod Bay.

Why even try.........
