Hmmm - While Im behind last years numbers - it's only because I haven't been able to get out as much. But when I have been out the fishing has been classic May fishing. This year I didn't do the herring thing but the Storms have been producing for me very well. For most of May it was all about surface feeding fish - just follow the birds. Now that the surface action seems to have slowed down - I've switched my mind set back to the basics. Structure and current. This morning was a textbook example. Good strong outgoing tide - northeast wind. Fish were right where you'd expect them to be. Went out for 2 hours before work - Had 6 fish - 3 were keepers - biggest only 31" but she put up a good fight. Would like to meet up with some of the other SB boaters - if you see a yellow scout with a T-top stop Stop and say Hi
