SeaWolf Registered User Join Date: Mar 2001 Posts: 842	the key to making a 7000 cast smooth is to have the spool bearings well oiled. this may require re-oiling either everytime you go fishing or every other. also, you will need to really cast the reel hard early on to break in the bearings.
