Fishing Report

After a long chat last night with the famous stevie "van stall"
He gave me the lowdown on whats around.

Over the weekend he and dave pickering "slammed" the bass in the toilet. He said they would absoulutly not hit anything but "zoom flukes".They had over 30 fish between them.

There are also some nice fish hitting behind the seagull resturant in the salt pong at gallilie. The best part is that they are hitting at night and taking small swimmers. The top of the flood tide seems the be yeilding the best results. These fish are hold over bass. The fishing there has been a well kept secret for a few years. But, not many people are willing to fish in the cold at night in the winter.

I will be going to the toilet myself on saturday night after dark to play with some of those schoolies.

Nothing yet at the west wall and tom maguire has been trying it almost daily when the weather is right. The seagull seems like the better spot. Some of the bass there have gone up to 35 inches,And the past few years march has been the best time there.........
