Fungus Registered User Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Newburyport Posts: 119	I am lucky enough to fish 99% of the time less than 5 miles from my house, so, for the most part fuel prices will not affect my fishing. I will still make a couple short adventures (200 miles round trip) this fall. It definitely helps that I have a diesel truck as I average ~20 mpg on the highway. While that is not great mileage these days as far as smaller car is concerned, it is good for a big truck that can carry all of my crap
