Just did a week long different type mileage check outta my truck, to see how bad it is....
98 F-150 ex-cab short bed, 4.6 , 4X4, automatic:
Just did 2 straight days of Highway, filled the tires to 35 pounds, gave it a fresh wash job, drove it like I stole it, speed limits in 3 states were broken

, (vowed not to change driving style, to alter results)
19.1 MPG... (I was pleased and surprised)
Around town, with air in tires, 15.5, some sit and wait, some run and gun.
Beach driving, some around town, aired down, (my usual summer M.O.)
11.6 ( So maybe I'll actually air up every time, from now on)
All three were better than I would have figured.....
So... how you guys doing?
