bloocrab Callinectes sapidus iTrader: (0) Join Date: Oct 2001 Posts: 6,277	a Rhody update.. ....here's the latest...some decent size schools of Bass have invaded R.I. waters in the last few days... I'm not talking 40# ers...but there are some decent fish being released and there were (2) 30+ pound fish weighed in on Tuesday at a local B&T. Tube and Worm is working quite well for those who "truly" know how to do it...and from shore, broken back swimmers seem to be the ticket. The shore baiters are getting into fish too -(2# bluefish mainly, with a Bass here and there) there seem to be too many dogfish around. On my last outing, while a man was casting...he lost the top part of his rod (it flew off with his cast, it must not have been inserted correctly)...he ended up using another rod to try and retrieve the top half that had ended up quite a bit aways...he tied a jig on and started casting...in about 30 minutes he landed at least 4 dogfish on the jigs...NEVER GOT THE TOP HALF BACK ...poor guy
	...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots
