Never thought of countersinking for the grommet. That should give enough beef so it won't splinter when I do the tail wrap. I did move the tie line foward some on ones I made after this one, I did'nt have alot of fowling on the cast or retrieve, but when I hook a fish on just the tail hook it almost always fowled. Have'nt lost any fish but it's a pain to re-tie after every fish. Thanks for the help.
