Mr. NIB

NIB, I was "down the shore" this past weekend payin respects to the parents and the native land of monmouth county. Did great at Phillips Ave Jetty with artificials! Looks like the flume-rebuild in Asbury is a decent size project if that what was going on. Fished with a couple of old salts who did even better with live herring. They all had 6' bamboo gaffs strapped to their back with surgi-like tube, convench reels and stout poles. Great to talk with them and watch a different technique in action. Also stopped by R&M's Tackle Shack (the old Capt. Bills). Talked to the new owners for awhile and dropped some cash. They were selling locally built plugs and a certain set they had were from a guy named Tony - any relation?
